Wolverines take on Titans in battle for final playoff spot

After the Waywayseecappo Wolverines beat the Neepawa Titans last Monday on home ice, the team was three points up on the Titans for the final playoff spot.

After two losses, and two Neepawa wins, the roles have switched, and now the Titans are one point up on the Wolverines as the two teams play for the final time this season, this time in Neepawa.

This game was supposed to be played in December, but was postponed due to road conditions, but with the season set to end in three weeks, this will be the biggest game of the season for both teams.

A Wolverines win in any situation will put them in a playoff spot, while a Neepawa win will get them either a three or two point advantage with both teams needing to play eight more games.

The Wolverines have already won the season series, but it won’t mean much unless the teams are tied in the standings.

The Wolverines have won big in Neepawa earlier this year, winning 9-2, but also lost 4-3 in December.
