Wareham, Wolverines shutout Titans

The Waywayseecappo Wolverines shut down the Neepawa Titans on Friday night, giving them their first preseason win of the new season.

Jase Wareham stopped all 33 shots to give himself an unofficial first shutout in his MJHL career.

The game had a scoreless first and third period, but the second period was when the Wolverines offence exploded for the first time in this preseason.

Ben Roulette, Ryan Jossy and Sean Williams all scored in the second period, within 6 minutes to give the Wolverines the big lead that the Titans could never overcome.

KC Couckuyt was the losing goaltender in the game, stopping 40 of 43 shots in the game.

The two teams will play on Saturday in Neepawa at 7:00pm.
