Wolverines trade for Nate Goodbrandson

The Waywayseecappo Wolverines are excited to announce the acquisition of Nate Goodbrandson from the Steinbach Pistons. A trade which involves Future Considerations.

The 20-year-old has played parts of the past three seasons for the Pistons, putting up 37 points (13 goals, 24 assists) in 48 games during the 21-22 season.

In his past two years with the Pistons, Nate had an impressive .70 points per game average.

The St. Andrews, MB product was also drafted by the Everett Silvertips of the WHL in 2018.

Goodbrandson joins Neo Kiemeney as the second former Steinbach Piston to join the Wolverines this year.

“I’ve been paying with Neo since Bantam,” said Nate. “So it’s pretty cool that we’ll be making our way to Waywayseecappo this upcoming season.”

Goodbrandson says he is a hard working goal scorer, that can also be play maker and hopes to bring his wealth of experience in the MJHL to a young team.

We are excited to welcome Nate to the Wolverines Family.
