Wolverines to host Titans for Home Opener

The Manitoba Junior Hockey League has announced that the Waywayseecappo Wolverines will host the Neepawa Titans on September 22nd at 7:30pm for the team’s 2023-24 home opener.

The game will be the Wolverines first game of the season, marking the first time since 2015, that the Wolverines will start the season on home ice at the Waywayseecappo Arena.

This will be the first time since 2019, that the Wolverines took on the Neepawa franchise to start off the season. In that game on September 20th 2019, the Wolverines won 4-1 over Neepawa at the Yellowhead Centre. In that game, Jack Kennedy scored two goals for the Wolverines.

The Wolverines are 3-8-2 in home openers since the league started tracking box scores in 2010, but they have been 3-1-1 since Taylor Harnett has started coaching for the team.

The rest of the MJHL Schedule will be released in the near future.
