Wolverines This Week: Big game against Neepawa

The Waywayseecappo Wolverines are now officially in a playoff spot for the first time since November, and they start this upcoming week with a big test and very important game against the Neepawa Titans.

The two teams have been paired off with each other since they swapped positions in the West Division race, but the Wolverines with a six game win streak has now put themselves in the playoff spot, with one point ahead of Neepawa.

Titans @ Wolverines Feb 19/24 – 4:00PM

The Wolverines have a chance to give themselves a cushion on the Titans with this home game. The team can also win the season series with the Titans if they get the win, or even a point.

It will be the fifth game between the two teams this season, and first of two games in just over a week before the two teams play next Tuesday in Neepawa.

Pistons @ Wolverines Feb 22/24 – 7:30PM

The Wolverines play the top ranked Steinbach Pistons for their second matchup of the season.

The only game the two have played this year, the Pistons were able to beat the Wolverines 3-2 in overtime in La Broquerie.

Wolverines @ Blizzard Feb 24/24 7:00PM

The Wolverines are looking for some revenge against the Blizzard, a team they have lost all four games so far this season against.

But OCN has not played the Wolverines since early January, before any winning streak the team had accomplished.

As for the Neepawa Titans, the team will play the Wolverines on Monday, play Selkirk on Friday and Swan Valley on Saturday.
