For the first time this season, the Waywayseecappo Wolverines will be looking for their fourth straight win.
After a very successful home stand with three wins in five days, the Wolverines find themselves just three points back of the Neepawa Titans for the final playoff spot in the West Division.
But now comes a tough two game stretch against one of the hottest teams in the MJHL, as the Dauphin Kings are 10-2 since the Christmas break. After a bad ending to 2023, the Kings have turned it around while also reloading with a few trades they made at the Trade Deadline.
The Wolverines have played significantly better in 2024 as well, but don’t have the amount of wins to back them up. But the team has only lost by more than one goal twice since the break.
For tonight, the Neepawa Titans do not play, but they play Saturday night against the Virden Oil Capitals in Neepawa.
