Wolverines start home and home with Pistons

The Waywayseecappo Wolverines will be starting a home and home with the Steinbach Pistons as they travel to La Broquerie on Friday night.

The Pistons are the top team in the MJHL, sitting at 89 points, six points up on the Winkler Flyers for top spot in the East Division. They have played two more games than the Flyers though, and recently lost to them on Wednesday.

For the Wolverines, they sit three points back of the Neepawa Titans with six games left to play. Neepawa will be playing the Dauphin Kings tonight and Winkler Flyers on Sunday.

The Wolverines are coming off a roller coaster last week with a 7-0 loss to Neepawa, shootout win over the Selkirk Steelers, but then a bad loss to Niverville on Tuesday at home.

The team played good in La Broquerie last time, losing 3-2 in overtime, but lost 4-1 at home a couple weeks ago to the same Pistons team.
