Wolverines Set To Kick Off Pre-Season In Virden

After an off-season that was not only longer than expected but also had plenty of uncertainty, it feels great to say Wolverine’s hockey has returned. The hockey club is set to kick off the 2020-2021 season tonight in Virden. This will be the first of three pre-season the club will play before opening up the regular season on the road in Dauphin, October 9th.

After a very intense weekend of training camp, the Wolverines roster sits at 32. Tonight, the club will ice a well-balanced roster in terms of age. Tonight’s roster also features a lot of local flavour. The line up features four players from Russell (Wyatt Tweet, Josh Thompson, Ryder Thompson, Tyson Zimmer), three players from Foxwarren (Logan Wotton, Colby Wotton, Nathan Falloon) and, two players from Vista (Curtis Muir and Mack Belinski).
