The Waywayseecappo Wolverines got a big boost in confidence after a big two win weekend.
The Wolverines were able to beat the Winnipeg Blues handily by a score of 11-2, and then get a comeback victory over the Niverville Nighthawks winning 5-4 in overtime.
The win against Niverville was especially big since it was the first time all year that the Wolverines were able to beat someone that was ahead of them in standings all year.
They face another test though, taking on the Portage Terriers, who is third in the league with 64 points and a 28-9-4-4 record.
The Terriers are on a three game win streak heading into tonight’s game.
