The Waywayseecappo Wolverines are set to host the Swan Valley Stampeders on Thursday night at the Waywayseecappo Arena.
Both teams are currently out of a playoff spot in the West Division, with the Wolverines five points out from the Neepawa Titans for the final spot.
For the Stampeders, they sold at the trade deadline, trading of a lot of their twenty-year olds. They have won two games since the turn of the calendar, with both of the wins coming against the Winnipeg Blues.
That also applies to the Wolverines, beating just the two Winnipeg teams in 2024. But in the last three games against the top three teams in the MJHL, the Wolverines lost each game by one goal, including one in overtime.
