The Waywayseecappo Wolverines could find themselves in a playoff spot for the first time since November by the end of the night, or find themselves three points back.
That is all part of the uncertainty of the playoff race, as the Wolverines and Titans fight with each other for the fourth and final playoff spot in the West Division.
The Wolverines have found themselves just one point back because of a big five game win streak that the team could only imagine before February. The Wolverines have managed to beat four teams ahead of them in the standings, something they couldn’t do before February, and also managed to knock off the Dauphin Kings twice, including once at home, which they hadn’t managed to do since 2020.
As for the Titans, they have managed to stave off the Wolverines with a big win over the Virden Oil Capitals last weekend in overtime. They take on Virden once again tonight.
For the Wolverines, they head to Swan River to take on the last place Swan Valley Stampeders. With a Waywayseecappo win and Neepawa loss, the Wolverines will find themselves in fourth by the end of the night, but if the opposite happens, then Neepawa would be three points up and maybe five by the time the two teams play on Monday afternoon.
