Wolverines go for eight in a row against Pistons

The Waywayseecappo Wolverines are looking to extend their winning streak to eight games as they host the top team in the MJHL, the Steinbach Pistons.

The Pistons lead the league in points with 81, and have only dropped 10 games all year. They are coming off a big 7-2 win over the Winkler Flyers on Monday, which was a potential playoff preview.

For the Wolverines, they have gone undefeated in February, winning seven straight going from seven points back of a playoff spot to now three points up on Neepawa for the final playoff spot.

The last time these two teams played was back in January, when the Pistons won 3-2 in overtime in La Broquerie. The two teams will play three times to finish off the season, with a back to back planned in March.
