Wolverines dominate Titans

It took only a minute to start the scoring, and the Wolverines never quit, as they beat the Neepawa Titans by a score of 9-2.

The Wolverines put up their most impressive game of the season, scoring nine goals, scored by five different players, including a hat trick by Jack Clarke.

Marek Andres also stopped 19 shots in the win, while Neepawa’s KC Couckuyt was in for all nine of the Wolverines goals, only stopping 16 shots in the game.

The Wolverines started scoring just 1:05 into the game when Sean Williams wired one past the goaltender.

Neepawa tied the game on the powerplay when Carter McLeod scored.

Waywayseecappo got back on top with a powerplay goal by Sam McPeak.

Just over 30 seconds later, it was Ben Roulette that was able to get a rebound in the net, for his first of the season.

Just before the period, Jack Clarke scored on the powerplay to make it 4-1.

The second period had just an impactful start as the end of the first period. Williams and Ryna Jossy scored in the first 2:14 of the second to make it 6-1 before the halfway mark of the game.

Later in the period, Carter McLeod scored his second of the game to make it 6-2.

In the third period, Sam McPeak gave the Wolverines a 7-2 lead with a shorthanded goal on a 2-on-0 with Jesiah Bennett.

Later on, Jack Clarke scored on another powerplay goal to get his second of the game. He later added his hat trick goal with 28 seconds left to go in the game.

The Wolverines were 3/6 on the powerplay in the game, and killed off 4 of 5 penalty kills.
