Wolverines Auto-Protect Mushumanski and Tibbatts

The Waywayseecappo Wolverines have auto-protected forward Dru Mushumanski and forward Bo Tibbatts ahead of next weekend’s 2022 MJHL Draft.

Mushumanski, from Rossburn, MB, played with the Parkland Rangers in the Manitoba Under-18 Hockey League last season. The 15-year-old scored 13 points in 31 games, helping the Rangers make it to the second round of the league’s playoffs.

Tibbatts, a Foxwarren, MB product, helped the Major Pratt Trojans to a Westman High School Hockey League championship, finishing third in league scoring with 38 goals and 37 assists in 42 games.

With the Wolverines using two auto-protect spots, the team will not select in the 7th or 8th round in this year’s draft.

The 2022 MJHL Draft is scheduled to get under way on Saturday June 4th at 3:00pm. Follow the Wolverines social media pages to keep you covered throughout the draft.
