Wolverines Aquire Dobson

The Waywayseecappo Wolverines have acquired defenceman Nick Dobson (01) in exchange for future considerations.

Dobson, a native of Cochrane, Alberta, played in 43 games for the Red Wings last season, where he racked up 13 points (2 goals, 11 assists). Dobson was excited when he found out he had been dealt to Waywayseecappo. “I was excited when I heard the news. I’m super excited to play for a team that is contending.”

Recently, this is the third deal Head Coach and General Manager Taylor Harnett has made with former NHLer Rich Pilon and the Weyburn Redwings. All three deals have seen the Wolverines acquire a defenceman (Daytona Houle, Riley Little), which will help Noah and the rest of the defence core. “I think the chemistry will immediately help the defence core,” Dobson said. “I have played with both Daytona and Riley as D-partners, and I am familiar with how they play. I’m excited to get back to where we were.”

Dobson, who describes himself as “An offensive defenceman who likes to jump up in the play. I love the physical side of the game as well,” should make in immediate impact in the Wolverines lineup!

The Wolverines would like to welcome Nick and his family into our organization!
