The Waywayseecappo Wolverines have announced their pre-season schedule before the 2023-24 season.
The team will be playing two games against the Swan Valley Stampeders, Neepawa Titans and the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League’s Yorkton Terriers each. One of the games will also be played at Ochapowace Nation in Saskatchewan.
The Wolverines will kick the pre-season off with a 1:00pm Sunday afternoon game in Swan Valley on September 3rd. They will then host the second half of the back to back the next night on Monday, September 4th at 6:00pm.
On September 6th, the team will travel to Yorkton to take on the Terriers at 8:00pm Manitoba Time (7:00pm SK) at the Gallagher Centre.
On Friday, September 8th, the Wolverines will host the Neepawa Titans at 7:30pm. The next night, they will play in Neepawa at 7:00pm.
The team will then get a full week off before concluding their pre-season schedule with a game at Ochapowace Nation at the Chief Denton George Memorial Complex, with the game starting at 8:30pm Manitoba Time (7:30pm SK).
This will be the second straight year that the Wolverines will be playing in Ochapowace, and third time in team history.
The 2023-24 season will then commence on September 22nd as the Wolverines host the Neepawa Titans at home at 7:30pm.
