Two teams that are battling on opposite sides of the playoff race will be facing off tonight as the Waywayseecappo Wolverines host the Niverville Nighthawks.
The Wolverines are currently three points back of the Neepawa Titans for the final playoff spot in the West Division. Niverville is five points up on Selkirk for the final playoff spot in the East Division.
The Wolverines are coming off an impressive come from behind victory on Friday night in Selkirk, beating the Steelers 3-2 in a shootout.
The Nighthawks are surviving as of now for the final spot, thanks to beating the Winnipeg Blues in back to back games last week, but they have not beaten anyone not named Winnipeg or Swan Valley since December 20th. That includes losing to the Wolverines in early February in overtime.
