The Manitoba Junior Hockey League announced that Jesiah Bennett of the Waywayseecappo Wolverines was named one of the Original 16 Stars of the Week.
Bennett helped the Wolverines to a 2-0 record over the week, scoring a goal and an assist in a 6-2 win over the Swan Valley Stampeders on Wednesday.
He then added pair of goals against the Virden Oil Capitals on Saturday night, including scoring the overtime winner.
This season, Bennett has four points in four games.
