Baptiste gets second straight Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries award

Waywayseecappo Wolverines forward Carson Baptiste has been named the Wolverines Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries Player of the Month of December, making it two straight months he has won the honour.

The Maskwacis, Alberta product had nine goals and four assists in only six games over the month of December. That included a four-goal game against the Selkirk Steelers on December 8th, where he scored three of the goals shorthanded.

Baptiste is tied for third in the league for most goals this season with 21, and is second in team scoring with 38 points, but leads the team in goals.

He was also named the MJHL Player of the Month for December.
