The Waywayseecappo Wolverines will be donning a new jersey as they take on the Niverville Nighthawks on Saturday night.
The Wolverines will be wearing teal to honour the late Addison Mitchell, who lost her life in September after a fight with cancer at nine years old.
The jerseys will be auctioned off (with auction ending on Sunday night) with 50% of proceeds being donated to the Cancer Care Manitoba and the other 50% of the proceeds going to Expanding Cancer Care Centre (ECCC) in Russell.
As for the hockey side of things, the Wolverines will look to build off an 11-2 win over the Winnipeg Blues on Friday night.
They take on the Nighthawks, who has been struggling of late, and trying to hold off the Selkirk Steelers for the final playoff spot in the East.
The Wolverines are still seven points back of the Titans for the final playoff spot in the West, after Neepawa won last night over the Freeze.
