Wolverines Auto-Protect Thompson and Zimmer

The Waywayseecappo Wolverines have Auto-Protected Forward, Tyson Zimmer and Defenseman, Ryder Thompson ahead of the 2019 MJHL Draft.

Both from just down the road in Russell, Zimmer and Thompson spent last season competing against each other in the Canadian Sport School Bantam Hockey League (CSSBHL).

In 26 games with the Okanagan Hockey Academy’s Bantam Prep Team, Zimmer scored 22 goals and 30 assists to lead his team in scoring.

While Zimmer spent his season out west, Ryder Thompson stayed within the province and suited up for the Rink Hockey Academy’s Bantam Prep Team in Winnipeg. The steady defenseman notched 3 goals and 20 assists in 29 contests.
