Team Alfred Cooke wins high scoring Joe Brandon Cup

The goals did not stop at the Joe Brandon Cup in Russell on Sunday afternoon.

Team Alfred Cooke beat Team Raymond Brandon by a score of 10-5 to claim the 5th annual Joe Brandon Cup.

Team Cooke was led by a a few multi-goal scorers, with Loghan Weber scoring three goals in the win. Sean Williams, and Ryan Jossy got two each. Rory Poole, Darian Sinclair and Jackson Roth also got a goal.

For Team Brandon, they were led by a hat trick from Tyler Huston and single goals by Brandon Seymour, Rowan Fenner.

The game was the last part of the Wolverines Training Camp.

The team will cut down part of the training camp roster and head to Swan Valley to play the Stampeders in part of a rookie game at 1pm on Sunday September 3rd.
