Roulette signs Letter of Intent with Wolverines

The Waywayseecappo Wolverines are excited to announce that forward Ben Roulette has signed a letter of intent for the 2022-23 season.

Roulette, 16, has been playing with the Yellowhead Chiefs of the Manitoba Under-18 Hockey League for the past two seasons, and had 46 points (18 goals, 28 assists) in 40 games this past season, leading the Chiefs to  the 4th seed in this year’s playoffs.

The Rivers, MB product was drafted 4th overall in the MJHL Draft in 2020, three picks in front of teammate Kurt Rookes.

“It’s exciting to get something done,” said Roulette. “Nothing but excitement for me and I’m looking forward to next year.”

Roulette spent a short time with the Wolverines during training camp last season, saying it was nice to check out the organization.

“It was nice to see everything, and the coaching staff has done a really good job in Waywayseecappo and I think it’s really going to fit my game well.”

Roulette says on the ice he looks to make everyone around him better and has quick hands and has an ability to put the puck in the net.
