Petrie joins Wolverines

The Waywayseecappo Wolverines are excited to announce the acquisition of forward Caleb Petrie.

Petrie has played parts of the past two seasons with the Bruins. Prior to his time in Estevan, he played three seasons in North Dakota suiting up for Bismarck High from 2016-2019. In 76 games played he totalled 125 points.

“We are very excited to have acquired a player of Caleb’s make up,” says, Head Coach Taylor Harnett. “He will bring leadership and grit to the Wolverines line up along with some an offensive upside. All reports tell us that not only is he a great teammate but he is a very smart player.”

Petrie, 20, says winning is the only thing on his mind this season.

“I hear that the Wolverines aren’t joking around this year, and I have one goal in mind to try and win a championship,” says Petrie.

Caleb says he is a type of player that plays with a lot of heart, and a good teammate, and can’t wait to join the team and experience the community firsthand.

“I’ve heard a lot of good things about the organization, so I can’t wait to get there.”

Petrie will be joining his new teammates at Wolverines Training Camp this week at the Waywayseecappo Arena.
