The 2021-22 MJHL Regular Season is just around the corner, and the Waywayseecappo Wolverines are getting their campaign started this week.
Starting on Wednesday September 1st, the Wolverines will begin three days of main camp before an exhibition game against the Swan Valley Stampeders on September 4th.
There will be two days full of scrimmages on Wednesday and Thursday, between three different groupings involving 42 players.
On Friday at 2:30PM, the fourth edition of the Joe Brandon Cup will be up for grabs as players are split into two teams to play for the training camp trophy that was named after the late Joe Brandon, who was a fixture at the Waywayseecappo Arena for many years.
And on Saturday, the Wolverines will take the ice for the first time since November 2020, when they take on the Swan Valley Stampeders at the Waywayseecappo Arena at 7PM. Tickets will be sold for the game at $5 each.
