Blizzard shut out Wolverines

The Waywayseecappo Wolverines failed to score in their return from the Christmas Break, as they dropped a 3-0 decision to the OCN Blizzard.

Tomas Anderson stopped all 25 shots he saw, as the Blizzard won their eighth straight game.

The Blizzard didn’t score until Reeve Sukut scored with just over six minutes left in the second period.

Keenan McNeill scored in the third period to give OCN a 2-0 lead, and then Brett Ward scored an empty net goal to  give the Blizz a 3-0 win.

The game featured very little penalties, as the Wolverines were 0/1 and the Blizzard were 0/2.

Wolverines goaltender Kaiden Kirkwood played good as well, stopping 21 of 23 in the game.

The Blizzard secured a season series victory over the Wolverines with a win, winning four of the six games so far.

The Wolverines next game will be on Sunday night as they travel to Winnipeg to take on the Blues.
