TRADE: Wolverines acquire Oughton in 2-for-1 trade

The Waywayseecappo Wolverines have acquired forward Noah Oughton from the Winnipeg Freeze in exchange for forward Regan Anderson and forward Cam Sarna.

Oughton, from St. Laurent, MB, has put up three points in 15 games this season, but has not played since November 10th. He is in his second year with the Freeze.

The 17-year-old was picked 1st overall in the 2023 MJHL Draft, and put up 14 points in his first full season, in 37 games.

Oughton also played in the 2024 National Aboriginal Hockey Championships with Team Manitoba, getting a goal and three assists in five games.
