Zasitko heading to Alberta-Augustana

Another Waywayseecappo Wolverine will be making his way to the University of Alberta-Augustana to play for the Vikings next season.

Garett Zasitko, the forward from Winnipeg, Manitoba, has committed to play for the school based out of Camrose, Alberta. The team plays in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference.

Zasitko will be joining longtime Wolverine, Owen Wheatley for his first season. Former Wolverines Leyton Smith and Gerrik Ripley also play on the team.

Zasitko played his final junior season with the Wolverines, putting up 41 points (9 goals, 32 assists) in 51 games this past season. He also played with the Estevan Bruins, Langley Rivermen and Winnipeg blues over the course of his junior career.

The Wolverines would like to congratulate Garett on joining the Vikings, and thank him for everything he has done for the organization and community over his time with the team.
