Wolverines unveil new Truth and Reconciliation Jersey

Ahead of the Waywayseecappo Wolverines annual Truth and Reconciliation Game on Tuesday, September 30th against the Swan Valley Stampeders, the team has unveiled the orange jersey they will be using this time around.

The orange jersey will be look similar to last year’s jersey that was used three times, but with an added white stripe.

This will be the team’s fifth time using orange jerseys during the their September 30th game, that is also called National Day of Truth and Reconciliation. As always, the jersey will focus on the medicine wheel logo that has the Chief Waywayseecappo Head in the middle. On the shoulders will be the normal Waywayseecappo Wolverines logo.

The game will conclude a full day of events that will be taking place around Waywayseecappo First Nation, with fireworks happening after the game.

The game will be free to all that wear orange to the game.
