The Waywayseecappo Wolverines will be heading to Virden to take on the Oil Capitals as the two teams are separated by two points in the West Division standings.
After losing on Friday, the Oil Capitals hold a two point lead on the Wolverines for the last playoff spot in the West Division, but have played four more games than their rivals.
The two teams met on the first Tuesday of the season, with Virden coming back from an early 2-0 deficit, to win 5-4 in that game.
The Wolverines are coming off a win on Tuesday, when they beat the Winnipeg Freeze 3-1.
Waywayseecappo will play the first 20 games in a row against teams that are currently in a playoff spot, which will end when the league breaks for Christmas. It will be nearly a week before the Wolverines play again, when they take on the Steinbach Pistons on Saturday, November 9th.
Before the game, the Wolverines were given news that forward Dru Mushumanski will be playing in the Western All-Star Showcase in Warman, SK during the week.
