Wolverines trade for Michael Donovan

The Waywayseecappo Wolverines have acquired forward Michael Donovan (’07) from the Flin Flon Bombers of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League for a Player Development Fee.

The Iqaluit, Nunavut product has played seven games in the SJHL this year, putting up one assist so far.

Last year, he played for the Northern Alberta Xtreme Under-18 Prep team, putting up 31 points (10 goals, 21 assists) in 31 games.

Donovan has played for Team Nunavut and Team Alberta in the National Aboriginal Hockey Championships in 2023 and 2025 respectively, putting up eight points during his tournament career.
