Wolverines trade for Mazur

The Waywayseecappo Wolverines are excited to announce that they have acquired forward Max Mazur (’02) from the SJHL’s Weyburn Red Wings in exchange for forward Mi-Kwan Tallman (’03).

The Calgary, Alberta product has 7 points in 12 games this season while suiting up with the OCN Blizzard. It is his third season playing in the CJHL, playing two of them with the Calgary Canucks of the AJHL.

Head Coach Taylor Harnett says Max is a hard player to play against.

“He has a willingness to play a tough game. He has a sneaky offensive side to his game that will definitely help us improve down the stretch,” says Harnett. “He let us know that he’s willing to do what it takes to win a championship.”

We would like to welcome Mazur to the Wolverines organization.

We would also like to wish Mi-Kwan Tallman continued success and thank him for his contributions to the organization.
