Wolverines take on the Blizzard in The Pas

The Wolverines head to The Pas for the first time this season to take on the OCN Blizzard.

The Blizzard recently relocated to the other side of the river, now playing games at the Roy H. Johnston Arena.

The two teams are separated by 14 points, with the Blizzard on a four game winning streak, which includes a win over the Virden Oil Capitals and Winkler Flyers, both games in a shootout.

The Wolverines meanwhile are still looking for their first win of December, losing all four games so far, including Tuesday’s game against Portage when they were up 3-2 heading into the third period, and lost 5-3.

This will be the first of three matchups between the Wolverines and Blizzard over the span of three weeks. The two will play again in Waywayseecappo on Tuesday, and again on January 4th.
