The Waywayseecappo Wolverines start their December schedule with a matchup against the Portage Terriers.
The two teams have only played once this season, with the Terriers winning 6-3 at the MJHL Showcase. This will be the only time this season that the Wolverines will head to Stride Place.
The Wolverines just finished November off in a winning way, beating the Winnipeg Blues 5-2 on Tuesday, but came out of the month with a measly 2-5-1 record, losing their grasp on the fourth and final playoff spot in the West Division to the Neepawa Titans.
The Wolverines have eight games left until Christmas, and will try to do something they have only done once this season so far, and beat teams that are ahead of them in the standings. Seven of the next eight will all be against teams that have more points than them at this moment.
