After a disappointing finish to last weekend, the Waywayseecappo Wolverines will be looking for revenge as they take on the Swan Valley Stampeders once again this weekend.
The two teams will play on Friday and Saturday (October 8th and 9th) after they split the back to back series last weekend.
The Wolverines won the first game by a score of 4-3, after leading 4-1 before the start of the third period. After holding on for the win two nights before, the Wolverines lost big in Swan Valley by a score of 6-1.
The West Division rivals will know that there is plenty to play for even though both teams will be playing jut their 7th and 8th games of the season. The entire West Division is only separated by three points from first to last. The Wolverines sit tied for first with Dauphin with 8 points. Swan Valley is in fourth with six points, only a point back of OCN for third and a point up on Neepawa and Virden for fourth.
