Wolverines sign Pilkington

The Waywayseecappo Wolverines have announced that defencemen Cohen Pilkington has signed a letter of intent to play for the Wolverines for the 2024-25 season.

The 17-year-old was drafted in the third round, 34th overall in the 2023 MJHL Draft by the Wolverines.

The Altona, Manitoba product played the last two years with the Pembina Valley Hawks in the Manitoba Under-18 Hockey League.

He put up 7 goals and 10 points last year, and added two more points in the playoffs as the Hawks made it to the second round.

Pilkington is the second player to sign with the Wolverines from the 2023 Draft, as Mikey Thomas played last year as a rookie.
