Wolverines sign McNish for 26-27 season

The Waywayseecappo Wolverines have signed forward Grady McNish to a letter of intent for the 2026-27 season.

The Rivers, MB product played for the Yellowhead Chiefs in the Manitoba Under-18 Hockey League last season, putting up 59 points (23 goals, 36 assists) in 47 games, first in team scoring.

“I am very excited for Grady to be joining our organization this season,” says Head Coach Landyn Cochrane. “He has established himself as a high-end scorer in the Manitoba U18 League and brings a natural ability to create offence every time he’s on the ice. His pace, size, and scoring touch will translate extremely well to the MJHL, and we’re looking forward to watching him continue to develop with our group.”

McNish has played one game in the MJHL, suiting up with the Portage Terriers in 2025, putting up an assist.

He is also a 9th round pick by the Lethbridge Hurricanes in the 2024 Western Hockey League Draft.

The Wolverines would like to welcome Grady and his family to the organization.
