The Waywayseecappo Wolverines have signed goaltender Zakary Matheson (’08) to a letter of intent for the 2026-27 season.
Matheson has been playing for the Winnipeg Bruins in the Manitoba Under-18 Hockey League this year and has a 12-1-1 record, putting up a .931 save percentage and a 1.57 Goals Against Average. The Bruins sit second in the league at the Christmas Break.
He put up a 20-4-4 record last year with the Bruins plus won 5 of his 8 games in the playoffs.
The Wolverines would like to welcome Zakary and his family to the organization.
