The Waywayseecappo Wolverines have signed forward Ian Buors (’06) for the 2026-27 season.
Buors, from St. Laurnet, MB, played played last season with the Amarillo Wranglers of the North American Hockey League and had 9 points (3 goals, 6 assists) in 34 games.
Before that, he played with the Notre Dame Hounds of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League, putting up 10 goals and 18 assists in 56 games. He also suited up for one game with the Selkirk Steelers to start his junior career.
“I’m really excited to be signing with the Wolverines,” says Buors “I’ve heard nothing but great things about the organization, and I’m looking forward to getting to know the guys and the community. I can’t wait to get started and help the team have a successful season.”
The rights of Buors was acquired by the Wolverines last summer in a trade with the Warman Wolverines.
