The Waywayseecappo Wolverines have signed forward Russell Aitkenhead (’09) to a letter of intent for the 2026-27 season.
The East St. Paul, Manitoba product is currently playing for the Winnipeg Thrashers in the Manitoba Under-18 Hockey League and currently has 8 goals and 9 assists in 12 games this season.
Last year, he had 12 points (4 goals, 8 assists) in 17 games with the Under-17 Thrashers.
The Wolverines would like to welcome Russell and his family to the organization.
