Wolverines Select Luke Robson 1st Overall

The Waywayseecappo Wolverines are proud to announce with the first overall selection in the 2019 MJHL Draft, the organization has selected centre Luke Robson from the AAA Bantam Southwest Cougars.

Robson, 14, has spent the past two seasons with the Cougars, recording 44 points (23g, 21a), and 38 penalty minutes in 61 career games. The 5-foot-6, 142-pound centre joins the organization with family ties to the Russell-Binscarth region.

“Luke is a good skating forward who plays with poise in all three zones,” Wolverines Director of Scouting, Troy Hickman said. “He possesses a very high hockey IQ and we’re definitely excited to bring him into our organization.”

We would like to welcome Luke and his family to the Waywayseecappo Wolverines organization!
