Wolverines release 2025-26 regular season schedule

The Manitoba Junior Hockey League has released the entire’s league schedule for the 2025-26 season, which includes the entire Waywayseecappo Wolverines schedule.

Yesterday, it was announced that the Wolverines would start the season at home against the Virden Oil Capitals on Friday, September 19th at 7:30pm. The next night, they will head to Virden for the Oil Caps home opener.

The Wolverines also announced some of the big games of the year.

For the fifth straight game, the Wolverines will be playing on National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, this time against the Swan Valley Stampeders on Tuesday, September 30th. As in years past, the Wolverines will be wearing an orange jersey, and admission will be free.

The team will be hosting the Oil Capitals for their annual school game at 12:30pm on Wednesday, October 8th. It will be the fourth straight year for the matinee.

The Wolverines will be bringing back the Teddy Bear Toss and will host it on a Saturday night for the first time. The game will take place on Saturday, December 13th at 7:30pm against the Neepawa Titans.

The annual Parents Weekend will happen on the weekend of January 30th as the Wolverines will host the Blizzard on the Friday and Pistons on the Saturday.

The Wolverines will be playing the Dauphin Kings on Monday, February 17th at 4:00PM on Louis Riel Day. It will conclude a day of activities around Waywayseecappo. It will also be the third year in a row hosting a game on that day.

The last game weekend of the season will be a three games in three days as the team will head to Neepawa on the Friday and host the Oil Capitals on the Saturday and the Blizzard on the Sunday.

Wolverines fans will be able to order season tickets in the coming weeks.
