The Waywayseecappo Wolverines celebrated their billet families on Saturday night ahead of their regular-season finale against the Virden Oil Capitals.
Players presented their billet parents with a bouquet of flowers as a token of appreciation for everything they do on a daily basis.
Each season, families from the surrounding area of Waywayseecappo take in Wolverines who leave home to come to play for the organization. Parents put trust in the organization that their sons will be taken care of as many are leaving and living away from home for the first time.
The Wolverines billet families have played a big role in the organizations’ success over the last two seasons. With the solid group of families who have stepped up for the Wolverines, there’s no question that the team has benefited directly from having some of the best billet families in the game.
