Wolverines prospects named to MU18HL All-Star Teams

A couple of Waywayseecappo Wolverines prospects have been named to the Manitoba Under-18 AAA Hockey League 1st and 2nd All-Star Teams for the 2022-23 season.

Carter Bear, who plays with the Winnipeg Thrashers, and Jase Wareham, with the Yellowhead Chiefs, were named to the All-Star teams.

Bear was drafted by the Wolverines in the 2022 MJHL Draft in the first round. He had 47 points in 28 games this season with the Thrashers. He was named to the First Team all-star as a forward.

Wareham was named to the Second Team all-star as a goaltender, after having a .912 save percentage and 3.47 Goals Against Average, with a 14-14-1 record. He has also been on the bench for a few Wolverines games this season.

The all-star teams were selected by coaches in the league.
