Wolverines Prepare For Second Preseason Contest Against Blizzard

The Waywayseecappo Wolverines are set to square off against the OCN Blizzard on Sunday night in their second and final preseason meeting.

In their first matchup, the young Wolverines roster was able to climb back from a 3-2 deficit all the way to a 5-4 win after scoring three straight in the first twelve minutes of the third period.

Waywayseecappo will try and put their best foot forward on Sunday night after they fell 5-3 to the Virden Oil Capitals on home ice Saturday evening.

20-years-olds in Sunday nights line up included Anthony Bilka, summer trade acquisition, Matt Kasowski, and Thomas Hansell.  Returning players, Conrad Phillips, Gerrik Ripley, Alex Lucken, Jack Tonnies and Xavier Halterman are also projected to suit up against OCN. Acquired in June by the Wolverines, Noah Westgate will dress in his second preseason game.

The Wolverines will see American recruits, Tyler Shetland, Charlie Kashmark and Matt Swanson. While Logan Wotton, Kieran Thiessen Colby Joseph, Cody Shearer, Lonan Bulger, and Waywayseecappo’s Cole Mentuck will play on Sunday.

The Wolverines will go with their 2002-born tandem in the crease on Sunday night with both Liam Tereposky and Nathan Falloon getting the call in net.
