The Waywayseecappo Wolverines made a splash on draft day, acquiring the first overall pick from the Neepawa Natives in exchange for a fourth overall pick in the first round and ’02-born prospect, Graeme Patrick.
Selecting six players in the draft, the Wolverines made the first pick and the last pick of this year’s rendition of the draft. The Wolverines also held the 15th and 17th overall selections before drafting 30th in the third round. To cap off the draft, the club selected 41st and 66th to welcome six new members to the Wolverine Family.
