The Waywayseecappo Wolverines are looking to bounce back after a bad loss on Sunday night, taking on the team that beat them, the Dauphin Kings.
The two teams played back on Sunday, with the Kings winning 8-0, after scoring four goals in the second period and three in the third period. Matthew Thomas had a goal and three assists in the game, while Cole Sheffield recorded his second shutout of the season.
The Wolverines lone bright spot of the game, was the play of Jase Wareham who stopped 44 shots in the game, and played fantastic until he ran out of gas near the end of the third period.
The Kings will be coming into Tuesday’s game scoring 17 goals last weekend, as they also took down the Winnipeg Freeze by a 9-4 score on Saturday.
Meanwhile the Wolverines have let in 14 goals in their past two games, losing 6-2 as well to the Selkirk Steelers on Thursday.
This will be the Wolverines last game before a week and half long break, as their next game won’t be until Friday, October 25th as they head up to The Pas to take on the Blizzard for a back to back.
