Wolverines bring in Gage Sutherland

The Waywayseecappo Wolverines have announced that defencemen Gage Sutherland has joined the team for the rest of the season.

The 17-year-old last played for the Winnipeg Freeze this year, putting up four points in 28 games. He last played on January 7th. Last year with the Freeze, he put up 10 goals and 5 assists in 49 games as a 16-year-old.

The Winnipeg, MB product has played with Team Manitoba in two National Aboriginal Hockey Championships, putting up five points in 11 total games.

He is expected to be in the lineup on Saturday night in Selkirk.
