The Waywayseecappo Wolverines organization celebrated their billet families on Tuesday night in a token of appreciation for everything that they do for the organization.
As many people know, billet families play an integral role in the success of running a Junior ‘A’ Hockey organization, and it’s no different for the Wolverines.
Families from Rossburn, Russell and the surrounding area open up their homes and their hearts to these young men who come from far and wide to play for the Wolverines.
There’s no question that to have success, you have to surround yourself and organization with great people. It definitely shows how lucky the Wolverines are with the number of great people who have selflessly stepped up and welcomed the Wolverines into their homes with open arms.
The tremendous support the Wolverines receive from all billet families has certainly played a part in this seasons team success and for that, we thank you.
