The Waywayseecappo Wolverines played their most complete game to defeat their rivals, the Dauphin Kings, 4-2.
Waywayseecappo was able to prevent the Kings from getting too many Grade A scoring chances, keeping them to 29 shots in the game.
The Wolverines were in the lead pretty much the entire game, as Jaxon Grosdidier sniped one over Cole Sheffield, scoring 2:43 into the game.
Adam Chipelski scored later on in the period, getting his first MJHL goal of his career, to make it 2-0.
In the second period, Ryan Jossy made it a three goal game, as he was able to bat in a pass from Sebastien Hicks.
The Wolverines scored their fourth goal in the third period, as Cole Hunter sniped one on the powerplay.
The Kings did get two late in the game to make it more of a game, as Matthew Thomas scored on the powerplay, and Ethan Willimen scored in the final seconds.
Jase Wareham stopped 27 shots for the win, and Sheffield stopped 13 in the loss.
The Wolverines will next take on the Northern Manitoba Blizzard on Friday night, to finish off the back to back games on home ice.
